Nope not buying it...

I know we're witnessing the largest buzz we've seen for an artist in recent memory, but I am just not on the bandwagon... Drake's album drops today and I, like dozens of friends (as discussed on Facebook ad infinium) , caught the leak every bit of a week and a half ago. Unlike most of them, save for two or three, I am just not feeling it, try as I might. Look, I know I am no rapper, but I never claimed to be either. I DO, however, claim to be a bit of a connoisseur, and can readily name why I feel the way I do about things that I do or do not like. As it were, the sing-songy, soft-as-a-bag-of-wet donuts presentation does not appeal to me. Perhaps that is owing to the fact that I was born before 1985 and without a vagina. I thank my parents for both, but that is not the point of this blog. Conversations on sites like XXLMag.com go on and on about how many copies the album might sell this week alone. True Story©… Taco Tuesday

  (Don't ask me why the editor change the color of my soles, smh)      We moved into this house on October 20, 2021. July 3, 2022, I made an active decision to buckle the rest of the way down in my weight loss and health journey and set aside alcohol. Given the nature of and reasoning behind that decision, most of my meals are home-cooked and almost always by me because I work from home in my full-time. Sometimes, though, I find myself, either through my schedule or just a simple need to break the monotony, needing to venture out for sustenance other than what is in my fridge.        A weird thing about this side of town since I moved over here is that two chicken spots, a sandwich shop, a Hardee's and a Chinese takeout joint have all closed. Would you rather... A discussion

With the success of last week's QOTD, I decided that I would probably make a point of dropping one of those on Facebook, email and yaddayaddayadda about every time I can think of one. Today's comes in the wake of Tiger Woods' epic bitch move in apologizing in the face of not having actually broken any laws. [ Phlip note - more on that in a later post] The question presented was " in the wake of all this tiger talk... would you rather your significant other cheat on you or just leave? " Of course, as with anything, when I am soliciting the opinions of others on these things, I asked people to be as specific as possible when answering.
