Nope not buying it...

I know we're witnessing the largest buzz we've seen for an artist in recent memory, but I am just not on the bandwagon... Drake's album drops today and I, like dozens of friends (as discussed on Facebook ad infinium) , caught the leak every bit of a week and a half ago. Unlike most of them, save for two or three, I am just not feeling it, try as I might. Look, I know I am no rapper, but I never claimed to be either. I DO, however, claim to be a bit of a connoisseur, and can readily name why I feel the way I do about things that I do or do not like. As it were, the sing-songy, soft-as-a-bag-of-wet donuts presentation does not appeal to me. Perhaps that is owing to the fact that I was born before 1985 and without a vagina.   (Don't ask me why the editor change the color of my soles, smh)      We moved into this house on October 20, 2021. July 3, 2022, I made an active decision to buckle the rest of the way down in my weight loss and health journey and set aside alcohol. Given the nature of and reasoning behind that decision, most of my meals are home-cooked and almost always by me because I work from home in my full-time. Sometimes, though, I find myself, either through my schedule or just a simple need to break the monotony, needing to venture out for sustenance other than what is in my fridge.        A weird thing about this side of town since I moved over here is that two chicken spots, a sandwich shop, a Hardee's and a Chinese takeout joint have all closed.      Okay, so I bombed the fuck out in that interview a couple of weeks ago and no one came to my defense financially.  I was left with little recourse.  I was forced with the ideas of either franchising my dick or flipping what little money I did have into the streets.      Well there’s a couple of problems with those… 1 – Franchising my weewee, even if in a COMPLETELY professional manner, would be in violation of my home situation and things could become less than cool. and… 2 – I don’t know the people I once knew to just go all Breaking Bad and shit.      So I am left to use what I got to get where I want.
