(29) Make me understand it

Just what in the hell are people trying to say these days?

"Mute Point?"
Are you suggesting that the point I am making is silent, like it has fallen upon deaf ears; or have you failed yourself in telling me my point was "moot," as in irrelevant?

"Wishing you well"
Newsflash: THERE IS NO D IN "CONGRATULATIONS"!!!
Furthermore, it is spelled C-O-N-G-R-A-T-U-L-A-T-I-O-N-S. That is a 5-syllable word that is not terribly complicated to arrive to. Shortening it to "congrats" or "congrads" as it were is not serving you any one little bit, just learn to spell the damned word!

"In Accordance With..."
Another one that people seem to hide from in their refusal to learn to spell the damned word, defined by the above-quoted is "legitimate."
L-E-G-I-T-I-M-A-T-E
What I find laughable is the people who will NEVER be bothered to learn that, instead will tell you how everything is so "legit."

"For Sure"
There is no A in "definite," this is definitely not up for discussion.

"What does it own?"
What is it possessing?
Nothing, you say? THEN WHY THE FUCK IS THERE AN APOSTROPHE?!!?
An apostrophe is to show possession when used in conjunction with damn near EVERY word in the English language except for "it" ("it's" = "it is," while "its" = "belonging to it")
Seriously, this is one that makes me want to punch a baby.

"Double Negative..."
"Irregardless," should probably looked at and broken down...
"ir," as a prefix means "not, or opposite of," so applying it to the beginning of a word suggests to refute the word when applied in conversation.
Now, "regardless" means "heedless, unmindful," basically "in spite of," thus making it a word that should NEVER need an "ir" prefix, lest by simple definition you should probably just leave the word out of a sentence.
Knock it off.

"CONVERSATE IS NOT A FUCKING WORD!!!"
Nothing more necessary on that one.

Perhaps this shit shouldn't bother me like this, but damn if it doesn't.
It kills me worse when someone who SHOULD know better or (worst of all) is purporting themselves to be better than this shit... You ain't slick, motherfucker, you's ig'nant!
Given that the internet is totally killing our social skills these days, we're seeing more and more examples of these things on a daily basis. I personally find THAT fact to be the most sickening, what with the fact that everything is now at our fingertips and is damn near automated now.

And y'all wonder why I don't go outside.
