The year? That'd be 1972, my parents are still in High School. This is also the year that British automaker, Lotus unveils a concept car at the Turin Auto Show based on a WAAAAAY futuristic at the time face, based upon the Europa chassis. Originally named "Kiwi," but that would be surely shitcanned sometime soon thereafter, seeing as how Lotus cars' names all begin with "E." The car would make production in 1976, and would continue as such in varying levels of advancement until 2004, for a run lasting longer -- and THROUGH -- cars that copied it, including the BMW M1 from earlier today. Aided by being lightweight and being James Bond's car in "The Spy Who Loved Me," the cars were quite popular. Well, home on a Sunday and with nothing to do prior to firing up the grill this afternoon to smoke a couple of Turkey legs for The Katie and I, I got to thinking about a topic for question of the day, and went in. As per the usual, it came in the form of a facebook status. Then I realized a typo, deleted and RE-typed it correct this time, and it goes as such... True Story©... Checking In On Reality

      The cooler it gets outside, the fewer times a week I have to leave my house.  These things are proportional...  I will be back outdoors sometime around March.  At this point, I am up to "put on pants"-level going outside about three times a week...  Four if I am doing the Band Booster Dad thing.  Being stuck-but-not-stuck in the house reveals to me the fact that I am back on actually answering unknown numbers again, as we have discussed at length once in the past.
