In the movies with Phlip -- The Book of Eli

Yes, I have been to the movies more in the 15+ months I have been with The Katie than I did in all of the 5 years prior. That being said, my mind was made when we went to see Sherlock Holmes a couple weeks ago that the next movie we would see would be The Book of Eli . Those that know me know that I am a homer for Denzel Washington and Samuel L Jackson movies. This movie stars Denzel in a role that is absou-fucking-lutely DYNAMIC. I mean that in that the idea of what it is he is in this movie changes with the goings on in the movie. The movie starts in what appears to be a post-apocalyptic United States with some ass-kicking and killage, so I was all for this one. Sure, there was some gore and I am more than sure that the hair up PETA's ass will be inflamed and will become a boil for what happened here. Over an Al cohol - influenced Thanksgiving conversation, I led to explain to The Katie and the rest of the family why it is I clock out, then come back to my desk to eat lunch instead of venturing out to the break room. "Because, I can't stand to hear those ignant motherfuckers babbling on about nothing and fucking up the language!" was my major peeve, always has and will be. "Well, what in particular?" was the question aimed back at me, and I ran down my short list, all of which to be included below. "Irregardless" No, people, that is not it... See, the prefix '-irr' renders the word that follows it a negative, thus making the meaning of this word "not regardless,' which is unnecessary because if something is not regardless it matters not to be mentioned. In such, people fuck this up worse, as their intentions are usually just to say 'regardless' in the first place, but need to make a 4-syllable word out of the presentation. ...

First thing’s first.  No one is paying me to post this. [ Note : if you want to, though, the PayPal link is on the left] Now that we got THAT out of the way, let’s get down to it. September 2014, my iPod Nano finally succumbed to too many drops and started to bust open at the top.  I had gotten it second hand and I was not about to lay out the cash for any Apple product at the time. I went with the Sony NWZ-E380 Walkman and it served me masterfully for years.  Gym duty, outdoor workouts, sitting on the couch reading/writing, yard work and most importantly, DAILY droning out of office chatter.      “Well why don’t you use your phone for all that, Phlip?” Thanks for asking, I USED to use my phones for all of that, but I found myself in possession of charger-dependent phones due to the constant need of charge due to 8-hours-a-day constant usage.
