True Story©... Training My Replacement

  I'm obsessive...      After my decision first to add narration to True Story© and then actually STARTING the project to get it done, I realized I would not be able to rest until I had them all up on YouTube. This means I would be multitasking with the AI to read, then listen back to each and every one. If you have been paying attention to me on BookFace or following the YouTube channel, you'll know that I converted every story from 2023 clear through this year, plus the whole of the Santa Saga (that one was by request). It took me from August 10 to September 5 to get all the narration done and QC'd. It was not perfect... sometimes words were changed or omitted by the AI, one time it added a whole disclaimer (you can hear that here ). I kept what I found acceptable and scheduled them out at a rate of three a day until last week.      I was worried, though... AMERICAN (bout damn time) Automotive Pr0ns -- SSC Ultimate Aero TT

SSC = S helby S uper C ars... Shelby = Caroll Shelby, the grand motherfucking daddy of sportscardom... Shelby SuperCars = ... fuck, you get it. The Ultimate Aero TT, therefore, is the top of the top of the motherfucking line. Prototyped in 2004, debuted in 2006, continues to now, but only 25 total... Under 3000 pounds, over 1000 (1183 to be exact), Berlinetta-styled coupe. Expect to unass about 5-600k for one of these. Oh, and get some driving lessons, as electronic pussifications, such as anti-lock brakes and traction control will NOT be in the building for your most-of-a-million outlay. Power comes courtesy of a Chevy Corvette (BLASPHEMY!!! Shelby is a Ford guy!) 6.2 liter twin turbo engine. 1183 horses and over 1000 pound-feet of torque. Anyone still miss that Ford motivation? Phlip and his camera - State Fair edition.

State Fair has been on since the 10th, today was the last of it... We had been TRYING to get to it, but with rain the first weekend, chilly last weekend and full time employment keeping us away from it during the week, we had not made it yet. Kicked around the text messages and Facebook exchange between the Katie and I with my best friend and my sister's (as in "the best friend of my sister," I only have one and would NEVER pluralize with an apostrophe), we decided that this afternoon would be the time to make it happen. Woke up this morning and whipped up breakfast -- hash brown casserole with diced potatoes, onions, turkey sausage, eggs and cheese (I really should have blogged that one, it was early, sue me) -- then commenced to taking a nap and starving myself all damned day.
